Every Gran Duca vase is crafted from agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5 — a certified compound that combines the natural beauty of Carrara marble aggregate with the structural integrity of high-grade white cement. The result is a surface with a warm, stone-like texture and a subtle luminosity that ages gracefully through the seasons. Each piece is rifinito a mano in Italpark’s workshop in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia, ensuring that no two vases are entirely identical.

To preserve the vase over time, always ensure the drainage hole remains unobstructed: place a 4–5 cm layer of gravel or pebbles at the bottom before adding soil. It is equally important to raise the vase 3–4 cm off the ground — using feet or supports — so that the external drainage opening is never blocked by the surface beneath.
