From the Gabiano Yard
to the art of recreating stone
Sixty years of artisan crafting of Carrara marble grit in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia. A white dust, raised by hand decade after decade, transformed into art.
It all begins in 1962 in Borgo San Giacomo, with Beniamino Spinoni’s Cantiere Gabiano, initially dedicated to concrete construction works. Six years later, in 1968, the introduction of Carrara marble grit transforms the company into an Italian reference for fountains, vases and garden ornaments.

Apollo d’Oro
In 1979 the European Chamber of Commerce awarded Italpark — then based in Borgo San Giacomo — the Apollo d’Oro prize, a recognition of Italian craftsmanship, still cited by the Brescia press into the 1990s.

A long-standing local presence

Advertising insertions published in the Brescia press between 1988 and 1994 also cite the “Apollo d’Oro” award 1979, conferred by the European Chamber of Commerce — testimony to Italpark’s long-standing local presence.
