Art. 182 – Oristano Garden Vase

The Oristano is a decorative garden vase with a strong, grounded character — a wide, generous body that tapers toward a defined base, balanced by a broad rim that frames the composition with classical authority. Its solid proportions and refined surface make it equally suited to formal gardens, stone terraces, and the entrance of a country villa. Whether displayed as a standalone sculptural element or used as an outdoor planter, the Oristano commands attention without overpowering its surroundings.

Art. 182 is crafted from cementitious aggregate composed of Carrara marble granulate and white cement RCK 52.5 — a certified material that combines the natural beauty of Italian marble with the structural density of high-grade white cement. The result is a surface with a fine, mineral texture and a naturally cool tone that ages gracefully in outdoor environments. Each piece is hand-finished by skilled craftsmen at the Italpark workshop in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia.

With an approximate weight of 52 kg (114.7 lbs) and a height of 32 cm (12.6”), the Oristano offers a substantial, stable presence on any surface. Its compact height and wide silhouette make it ideal for low arrangements — placed at the foot of a staircase, along a garden path, or grouped with other decorative elements to create a composed outdoor setting. Maintenance and Care

To preserve the integrity of the vase over time, always ensure the drainage hole remains unobstructed: place a 4–5 cm layer of gravel or coarse stones at the bottom before adding soil. It is also recommended to raise the vase 3–4 cm from the ground using feet or spacers, preventing the external drainage hole from becoming blocked by the surface beneath. In regions with cold winters, take particular care: if water accumulates inside and freezes, the resulting expansion can cause cracking or structural damage. Keeping drainage clear is the single most effective precaution against frost-related breakage.
