Material

Art. 186 is crafted from agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5 — a certified compound that combines the natural beauty of Carrara marble aggregate with the structural integrity of high-grade white cement. The result is a surface with a warm, stone-like finish that weathers gracefully over time, developing the authentic patina typical of quality garden sculpture.

Its approximate weight of 115 kg (253.6 lbs) reflects the density and solidity of the material, ensuring excellent stability even in exposed outdoor positions.

Suggested Uses

Maintenance & Care

To preserve the vase over time, always ensure the drainage hole remains clear: place a 4–5 cm layer of gravel or pebbles at the bottom before adding soil. It is also recommended to raise the vase 3–4 cm from the ground using feet or supports, preventing the external drainage hole from becoming obstructed by the surface beneath.

In regions with cold winters, particular attention should be paid to frost risk: if water accumulates and freezes inside the vase, the expansion of ice can cause cracking. Ensure adequate drainage at all times and, where necessary, protect the vase or remove standing water before freezing temperatures occur.
