To preserve the vase in optimal condition, always ensure the drainage hole remains clear: place a 4–5 cm layer of gravel or pebbles at the bottom before adding soil. Raise the vase 3–4 cm from the ground using feet or supports to prevent the external drainage hole from becoming obstructed.
