The Mestre model is a refined decorative vase that combines classical proportions with a clean, versatile silhouette — equally at home on a garden terrace, a villa entrance, or an outdoor living space. Art. 227 is crafted from agglomerato cementizio composed of Carrara marble granulate and white cement RCK 52.5 — a certified, high-density mix that ensures exceptional durability against weathering, UV exposure, and temperature fluctuations. Each piece is hand-finished by skilled artisans at Italpark’s workshop in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia, preserving the tactile quality and subtle surface texture that distinguish genuine Italian craftsmanship from industrial alternatives.
The natural tones of Carrara marble granulate give the vase a luminous, stone-like appearance that ages gracefully outdoors, developing a distinguished patina over time.
To ensure long-lasting performance when used as a planter, always keep the drainage hole clear: place a 4–5 cm layer of gravel or pebbles at the bottom of the vase before adding soil. This prevents waterlogging and root suffocation.
We also recommend raising the vase 3–4 cm off the ground using feet or spacers, so the external drainage hole is never obstructed by the surface beneath. In regions with harsh winters, this precaution is especially important: if water accumulates and freezes inside the vase, the resulting expansion can cause cracking. Ensuring proper drainage significantly reduces frost damage risk and extends the life of the piece across all seasons.
