The Lillium — Art. 249 is a large-format decorative garden vase with a bold, generous silhouette inspired by classical Mediterranean forms. Its wide, rounded body tapers gracefully toward the base, while the broad rim crowns the composition with quiet authority. With a diameter of 80 cm and a height of 70 cm, the Lillium commands attention whether placed at the entrance of a villa, along a garden path, or as a centrepiece on a stone terrace.
Every piece is crafted from agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5 — a certified compound that combines the natural beauty of Carrara marble aggregate with the structural integrity of high-strength white cement. The result is a surface with a refined, stone-like texture that weathers gracefully through the seasons, developing a distinguished patina over time.
The Lillium is equally suited as a purely decorative element — displayed empty to punctuate a formal garden layout — or as a generous planter for ornamental shrubs, topiary, seasonal flowers, or trailing plants. Its substantial weight of approximately 164 kg (indicative) ensures natural stability even in exposed outdoor settings.
To preserve the vase over time, always ensure the drainage hole remains unobstructed: place a 4–5 cm layer of gravel or coarse stones at the bottom before adding soil. Raise the vase 3–4 cm off the ground using feet or supports to prevent the external drainage hole from becoming blocked by the surface beneath. In areas subject to frost, take particular care: if water accumulates and freezes inside the vase, the resulting expansion can cause cracking. Proper drainage is the most effective preventive measure.
The Lillium is hand-finished at the Italpark Srl workshop in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia — where artigianale production of decorative marble-aggregate pieces has been carried out without interruption since 1968.
