The Caracalla is a monumental decorative vase inspired by the grand classical forms of ancient Roman baths and imperial gardens. With an indicative height of 65 cm and a generous diameter of approximately 56 cm, its broad, rounded body tapers gracefully toward a sturdy base, creating a sense of balanced weight and timeless elegance. The wide upper rim frames any planting arrangement with authority, while the overall silhouette commands attention as a standalone decorative element on a terrace, villa entrance, or formal garden setting.

Art. 229 is crafted from agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5 — a certified composite material that combines the natural beauty of Carrara marble aggregate with the structural integrity of high-strength white cement. The result is a surface with a refined, stone-like texture that weathers beautifully outdoors, maintaining its character through sun, rain, and seasonal change. Maintenance & Care

To preserve the vase over time, always ensure the drainage hole remains clear: place a 4–5 cm layer of gravel or coarse stones at the bottom of the vase before adding soil. This prevents compaction and keeps water flowing freely. It is equally important to raise the vase 3–4 cm from the ground — using feet, tiles, or purpose-made supports — so that the external drainage opening is never obstructed by the surface beneath.

In regions subject to frost, particular care is required: standing water that freezes inside the vase can cause cracking or structural damage. Ensure adequate drainage at all times during the cold season, and consider protecting the vase or emptying it of soil if prolonged freezing temperatures are expected.
