The Art. 285 Hexagonal Vase is a statement decorative piece designed for gardens, terraces, and villa settings where architectural form meets timeless elegance. Its generous proportions — 62 cm in height and 63 cm in diameter — give it a commanding presence, while the clean hexagonal profile adds a geometric refinement that suits both classical and contemporary outdoor environments.

Every surface is hand-finished by skilled craftsmen at Italpark’s workshop in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia, bringing out the natural texture and luminosity of the material. The vase is cast in an agglomerato cementizio composed of Carrara marble granulate and white cement RCK 52.5 — a certified blend that ensures exceptional density, weather resistance, and the distinctive warm-white tone characteristic of all Italpark pieces.

With its wide opening and stable base, the Art. 285 works beautifully as a decorative garden urn displayed empty, as a focal point on a terrace, or planted with seasonal flowers, ornamental grasses, or small shrubs. Its substantial weight — approximately 80 kg — provides natural stability even in exposed outdoor positions. It is also available in two smaller heights: 48 cm (approx. 58 kg) and 35 cm (approx. 47 kg).

Maintenance & Care

To preserve the vase over time, always ensure the drainage hole remains unobstructed: place a 4–5 cm layer of gravel or pebbles at the bottom before adding soil. Raise the vase 3–4 cm off the ground using feet or spacers to prevent the external drainage hole from becoming blocked by the surface beneath. In regions with harsh winters, take care to avoid water pooling inside the vase: standing water that freezes can cause cracking. Keeping drainage clear is the single most effective measure against frost damage.
