The Varazze Fountain is one of the most imposing pieces in the Italpark range — a monumental garden fountain hand-finished from Carrara marble graniglia and white cement, with an overall height of approximately 192 cm, an outer diameter of around 350 cm, an inner diameter of roughly 250 cm, a circular border standing about 54 cm high, and an indicative weight of 2,355 kg. Every surface is rifinita a mano by skilled craftsmen who have worked Carrara marble graniglia since 1968, ensuring the depth of texture and tonal consistency that only genuine stone aggregate can deliver. The result is a fountain that commands attention in large private gardens, hotel courtyards, civic plazas, and heritage landscapes alike.
The stacked bowls create the fountain’s signature waterfall effect, with water gently overflowing from one tier to the next.
To bring the Varazze to life as a fully functioning water feature, the Water Kit Type 1 (ART. 2360 Ki1) provides everything required: a submersible pump, complete hydraulic circuit, and the TP02 overflow fitting, all engineered specifically for this fountain’s dimensions and flow requirements. Italpark has been designing and producing functioning fountains with integrated hydraulic pump systems since 1995, and each kit reflects that accumulated expertise in a ready-to-install package.
Evening and night-time presentation can be elevated with one of two dedicated lighting options. The Lighting Kit Type 1 (ART. 2360 KL1) equips the fountain with four FL03 LED spotlights, a transformer, and a connection box for a clean, warm-white illumination that accentuates the sculptural relief of the marble graniglia. For dynamic colour effects, the Lighting Kit Type 2 (ART. 2360 KL2) replaces the fixed-white fittings with four FLM03 multicolour LED spotlights paired with the RC02 remote control, a transformer, and a connection box, allowing the full spectrum of colour to be adjusted from a distance.
For installations where continuous supervision is not practical, the Automatic Refill Kit (ART. 2360 KRA) maintains a constant water level autonomously through a water-level sensor, solenoid valve, and dedicated hydraulic circuit — an essential addition for any monumental fountain exposed to evaporation and splash loss in open-air settings. All kits are optional accessories supplied separately and are designed to integrate seamlessly with the Varazze Fountain’s structure.
The fountain operates with a closed-circuit pump: no water connection required. Regularly top up the water level and never run the pump dry. Regularly add descaler and anti-algae product (art. CH02) to protect the pump. Limescale on the rotor will void the warranty. Clean with water and a sponge, maximum once a year.
Below 3°C, completely drain all water from the circular border, pipes and pump. Cover the fountain with waterproof material. For areas with particularly harsh winters, apply an additional waterproofing treatment (art. SI05).
