The Damigella ‘900 — literally “Young Lady of the 1900s” — draws its graceful inspiration from the figurative sculpture tradition that flourished across Europe at the turn of the twentieth century. Crafted in Italpark’s workshop in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia, this sculpture is cast in an agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5, a material that combines the luminous warmth of genuine Carrara marble aggregate with the structural integrity of high-grade white cement. Every detail — from the delicate folds of the figure’s garment to the subtle expression of her pose — is rifinita a mano by skilled artisans, following a tradition of craftsmanship that Italpark has maintained since 1968. The result is a sculpture of considerable presence, standing approximately 140 cm (55.1”) tall and weighing around 182 kg (401.3 lbs), with a base of approximately 54 × 40 cm.
