The Losanna Fountain (ART. 2382) is a monumental garden fountain in Carrara marble grit and white cement, hand-finished at the Borgo San Giacomo workshop in Brescia, Italy. With an external diameter of 340 cm, a border height of 51 cm and a weight of 2,077 kg, it makes a powerful sculptural statement in prestigious private gardens, villas and parks.
The circular border, with an internal diameter of 300 cm, is designed for permanent installation in representative spaces. For those unable to build an underground base, a fibreglass basin is available as an optional accessory.
The water system is available with Water Kit type 1 (ART. 2382 Ki1), including pump, complete hydraulics and overflow.
Two lighting kits are available. Lighting Kit type 1 (ART. 2382 KL1) includes LED spotlights FL03 with transformer and connection box. Lighting Kit type 2 (ART. 2382 KL2) features multicolor LED spotlights FLM03 with RC02 remote control.
The fountain operates on a closed circuit. The automatic refill kit (ART. 2382 KRA) is available for permanent installations. Available in 11 finishes. Made in Italy.
The fountain operates on a closed circuit and requires no water mains connection. Top up the water regularly to keep the pump submerged — the pump must never run dry.
Regularly add an anti-scale and anti-algae product (e.g. art. CH02). Limescale on the pump rotor will void the warranty.
Clean periodically with water and a sponge, no more than once a year. Finishes 7 and 10 (painted) require annual touch-ups with the paint supplied, applied by brush.
Periodically treat surfaces with a transparent water-repellent. Do not use detergents or degreasers on visible surfaces.
When temperatures drop below 3°C, completely drain all parts: crown with nozzles, pipes, border and pump.
Cover with waterproof material to protect it during cold weather.
For harsh winter areas, an additional waterproofing treatment is recommended (art. SI05).
