The Dreaming Venus draws inspiration from one of Western art’s most enduring archetypes — the goddess of love and beauty captured in a moment of serene repose. Rooted in the Hellenistic tradition and revisited throughout the Renaissance and Neoclassical periods, the image of Venus lost in contemplation has long symbolised inner harmony, feminine grace, and the timeless beauty of nature. Art. 477 is crafted by Italpark Srl in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia, using an agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5. Each piece is individually finished by hand by our artisans, following a tradition of craftsmanship that dates back to 1968. The result is a surface with a refined, stone-like appearance that honours the elegance of classical sculpture while offering the durability required for outdoor environments. Dimensions are approximately 140 cm in height with a base of 82 × 43 cm and a weight of around 340 kg — a substantial, commanding presence.
The Dreaming Venus is an ideal decorative accent for formal gardens, villa courtyards, and landscaped terraces.
