The Art. 963 Maxi Capital with Sphere is a monumental decorative crowning element designed to complete and enhance large-format pillars, gate posts, and boundary walls. With a total height of 50 cm (19.7”) and a 50×50 cm base, this piece commands presence and brings a timeless architectural character to any entrance or perimeter structure.
Crafted in Italpark’s workshop in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia, it is made from cementitious aggregate composed of Carrara marble granulate and white RCK 52.5 cement — the same high-quality compound the company has been producing since 1968. Each piece is individually hand-finished by skilled artisans, ensuring consistent surface quality and sharp decorative detail.
The crowning sphere, with a diameter of Ø 25 cm (9.8”), sits atop the capital’s structured body, creating a balanced and elegant silhouette. The generous proportions — and a substantial weight of 71 kg (156.6 lbs) — make this element particularly suited to large masonry pillars and imposing gate structures where a standard-sized finial would appear visually insufficient.
The natural light tone of the white cement and Carrara marble granulate integrates harmoniously with stone, brick, render, and other traditional building materials, making it a versatile choice for both classic and contemporary architectural contexts.
