Base Ottagonale

The ART. 819/B Octagonal Base is the foundation element of the Moro Octagonal Pillar system (ART. 819), designed to work in combination with the shaft (ART. 819) and the complementary elements ART. 819/C and ART. 819/E. It is not intended as a standalone product: its octagonal section and proportions are engineered to integrate seamlessly within the complete modular system, providing a solid and visually coherent starting point for the full decorative composition.

Crafted from agglomerated cement composed of Carrara marble aggregate and white cement RCK 52,5, each base is rifinito a mano at Italpark’s workshop in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia — a tradition of Italian artisanal production dating back to 1968. The element is available in 11 surface finishes, allowing precise coordination with the other components of the system and with the surrounding architectural or garden context. Maintenance is straightforward: periodic cleaning with water and a neutral detergent is sufficient to preserve the surface. Avoid aggressive chemical products or abrasive tools that may alter the finish. As with all cement-based decorative elements, a breathable water-repellent treatment is advisable in exposed outdoor installations to help maintain the original appearance over time.
