Balaustra Sirmione II

The Sirmione II balustrade is a demonstration composition that showcases the full potential of the Italpark modular balustrade system — a timeless solution for terraces, balconies, staircases, and garden enclosures, crafted in Borgo San Giacomo (Brescia) since 1968.

Every element is cast in cementitious agglomerate made from Carrara marble powder and granules, bound with white Portland cement RCK 52.5, then hand-finished to bring out the natural luminosity of the stone. The result is a decorative marble balustrade with the authentic character of Italian craftsmanship and the durability of a professional-grade material.

The composition shown here is built from the ground up starting with the Small Base, which provides a stable, level footing for each vertical element. Rising from it, the Colonnetta Sirmione II forms the rhythmic, load-bearing spine of the balustrade’s decorative structure, repeated at regular intervals to define the characteristic cadence of the design.

The horizontal continuity of the composition is ensured by the Small Handrail, which runs along the top of the columns and unifies the entire run into a single, elegant line. At each end of the balustrade, the Pillar P. provides a clean, architecturally resolved termination — giving the composition a sense of solidity and finish. Where a vertical accent is needed at intermediate points, the Small Integrated Plant Box can be incorporated seamlessly into the run without interrupting the flow of the handrail.

What makes this a composable balustrade system is its inherent flexibility: the same standard elements are simply combined in greater or lesser numbers to match the exact length required by any project.
