The Tiberio is a large-format decorative vase that draws inspiration from the grand classical tradition of Mediterranean garden design. Its generous, rounded body — approximately 60 cm in diameter at its widest point — tapers gracefully toward a narrower base of around 47 cm, creating a bold yet balanced silhouette that commands attention on any terrace, villa entrance, or formal garden setting. Standing at roughly 55 cm in height and weighing approximately 52 kg, the Tiberio has the substantial presence of a true architectural element, capable of anchoring a composition or standing as a statement piece on its own.
The smooth, continuous curves of the body are complemented by a wide, slightly flared rim that frames plantings beautifully or simply enhances the vase’s sculptural quality when displayed empty. Whether positioned in pairs flanking a doorway, arranged along a garden path, or placed as a focal point on a stone terrace, the Tiberio brings a sense of timeless elegance to any outdoor space.
Art. 206 is cast in agglomerato cementizio composed of Carrara marble granulate and white cement RCK 52.5 — the same certified material that has defined Italpark’s production since 1968. This carefully balanced mix delivers a naturally refined surface finish with the characteristic warmth and luminosity of genuine Carrara marble, while ensuring outstanding resistance to weathering, UV exposure, and the mechanical stresses of outdoor use throughout all four seasons.
Every Tiberio vase is hand-finished by skilled artisans at Italpark’s workshop in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia, ensuring consistent quality and the subtle character that only handcrafted production can achieve.
The Tiberio is designed exclusively for decorative outdoor use. Its generous interior volume makes it equally suited as an ornamental planter — ideal for topiary, seasonal flowers, or Mediterranean shrubs — and as a purely sculptural element that enriches the aesthetic of a garden, villa courtyard, or covered terrace. Its neutral, stone-like finish integrates naturally with both classical and contemporary landscape design.
To preserve the integrity of the vase over time, always ensure the drainage hole remains clear. Before adding soil, place a 4–5 cm layer of gravel or pebbles at the bottom of the vase to prevent the hole from becoming blocked by earth. It is also recommended to raise the vase 3–4 cm from the ground — using feet or spacers — so that the external drainage opening is never obstructed by the surface beneath.
In regions subject to frost, particular care is required: if water accumulates inside the vase and freezes, the resulting expansion can cause cracking or structural damage. Ensuring proper drainage at all times is the most effective preventive measure against frost-related breakage.
