The Viareggio Fountain (ART. 2356) is a monumental hand-finished garden fountain crafted from Carrara marble graniglia and white cement. Standing approximately 190 cm tall with an outer diameter of around 305 cm, it is a centrepiece for grand outdoor spaces. The Viareggio Fountain (ART. 2356) is one of the most imposing pieces in the Italpark collection of working garden fountains produced since 1995. Hand-finished in Carrara marble graniglia and white cement using artisanal techniques refined since 1968, it reaches an indicative height of 190 cm and features a circular border approximately 40 cm tall, with an outer diameter of around 305 cm and an inner diameter of roughly 220 cm. The indicative weight of approximately 1,344 kg speaks to the solidity and permanence of a fountain designed to anchor large gardens, historic estates, public squares, and prestigious hospitality venues.
Two hydraulic water kits are available to bring the Viareggio Fountain to life. The Water Kit Type 1 (ART. 2356 Ki1) includes a pump, complete hydraulic system, one UG07 nozzle, and an overflow TP02, delivering a clean, classic single-jet effect. For a more spectacular display, the Water Kit Type 2 (ART. 2356 Ki2) adds a crown of 36 UG01 nozzles alongside the central UG07 jet, pump, full hydraulics, and overflow TP02, creating a rich, multi-layered water show suited to the fountain’s grand scale.
Evening ambiance is handled by two dedicated lighting kits. The Lighting Kit Type 1 (ART. 2356 KL1) provides five FL03 LED spotlights with transformer and connection box for a refined white-light effect. Those seeking dynamic colour can opt for the Lighting Kit Type 2 (ART. 2356 KL2), which replaces the spotlights with five FLM03 multicolour LED units and adds an RC02 remote control, allowing full chromatic customisation from a distance. To simplify maintenance, the Automatic Refill Kit (ART. 2356 KRA) integrates a water-level sensor, solenoid valve, and dedicated hydraulics to keep the basin topped up automatically.
An optional fibreglass basin (ART. VV6) — approximately 31 cm tall with an inner diameter of around 220 cm and an outer diameter of roughly 226 cm, weighing an indicative 60 kg — is available as a separate accessory to facilitate installation and water containment. All components are designed to work in harmony with the Viareggio Fountain’s architecture, ensuring a complete, lasting, and visually commanding water feature.
The fountain operates with a closed-circuit pump: no water connection required. Regularly top up the water level and never run the pump dry. Regularly add descaler and anti-algae product (art. CH02) to protect the pump. Limescale on the rotor will void the warranty. Clean with water and a sponge, maximum once a year.
Below 3°C, completely drain all water from the circular border, pipes and pump. Cover the fountain with waterproof material. For areas with particularly harsh winters, apply an additional waterproofing treatment (art. SI05).
