ART. 325 — Olimpia Bowl

The Olimpia bowl is a wide, low-profile decorative vessel that brings a timeless classical character to any outdoor setting. With a generous diameter of 58 cm and a contained height of 30 cm, its broad, open silhouette recalls the ancient Greek lebes — a form designed to be admired from above as much as from the side. The generous rim and gently curved basin create a sense of calm, horizontal elegance that pairs naturally with both formal garden layouts and contemporary terrace designs.

Crafted from agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5, the Olimpia bowl displays the characteristic warm, pale finish that only authentic Carrara marble aggregate can produce. The surface is hand-finished by Italpark’s artisans in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia, resulting in a refined texture that weathers beautifully over time, developing a natural patina that enhances its decorative presence in the garden.

Weighing approximately 36 kg (79.4 lbs), this bowl offers the substantial visual weight of a true architectural element. Place it as a standalone decorative centrepiece on a stone terrace, position it at the foot of a staircase, or use it as a planter for seasonal flowers and low ornamental plants. Its wide opening makes it particularly suited to shallow-rooted species, succulents, and colourful annual arrangements that benefit from full exposure to light.

Maintenance and Care

To ensure long-lasting performance, always keep the drainage hole clear: place a 4–5 cm layer of gravel or pebbles at the bottom of the bowl before adding soil. Raise the bowl 3–4 cm off the ground using feet or spacers to prevent the external drainage hole from becoming blocked by the surface beneath. This precaution is especially important in winter: if water accumulates and freezes inside the bowl, the resulting expansion can cause cracking. In areas subject to severe frost, we recommend emptying the bowl of soil and water before the coldest months.

100% Made in Italy — Handcrafted Since 1968

The Olimpia bowl is produced entirely in Italy by Italpark Srl, a family-run workshop in Borgo San Giacomo (Brescia) with over five decades of uninterrupted artisanal tradition. Every piece is hand-finished with the same dedication to quality that has defined Italpark’s production since 1968 — a guarantee of authenticity for those who choose Italian craftsmanship for their garden and outdoor spaces.

Dimensions and weight are indicative. Minor variations are inherent to the artisanal production process.
