The Art. 130 Portanoci is a compact decorative vase with a rounded, gathered silhouette that recalls the timeless elegance of classical Italian garden ornaments. Its contained proportions — 20 cm in height and 17 cm in diameter — make it a versatile accent piece, equally at home on a terrace ledge, a garden step, or arranged in a composed grouping alongside larger urns and planters.
The Portanoci is crafted from agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5, the certified material that has defined Italpark’s production since 1968. The natural marble aggregate gives the surface a warm, textured finish with the characteristic depth and luminosity of genuine Carrara stone, while the structural cement core ensures lasting resistance to outdoor conditions throughout every season.
Each piece is hand-finished by skilled artisans at Italpark’s workshop in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia, preserving the subtle irregularities and tactile quality that distinguish a truly handcrafted object from an industrial product. Weighing approximately 7 kg, the Portanoci sits with reassuring stability even in exposed positions.
Whether displayed as a purely decorative element — perhaps filled with seasonal cuttings, dried botanicals, or left empty as a sculptural accent — or used as a small planter for compact flowering plants and herbs, this vase brings a refined, Made in Italy character to any outdoor setting: a villa entrance, a walled garden, a sun-drenched terrace.
To preserve the vase and any planting within it, always ensure the drainage hole remains unobstructed: place a 4–5 cm layer of gravel or coarse stones at the bottom before adding soil. Raise the vase 3–4 cm off the ground using feet or spacers to prevent the external drainage hole from becoming blocked by the surface beneath. In regions subject to frost, take particular care: if water is allowed to stagnate and freeze inside the vase, the resulting ice expansion may cause cracking. Emptying or sheltering the vase during prolonged freezing periods will significantly extend its lifespan.
The Art. 130 Portanoci is part of the Italpark collection, produced without interruption since 1968 in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia — a benchmark of Italian artisanal quality in decorative garden stonework.
