The Nerone balustrade is a reference composition designed to showcase the full potential of the Italpark modular balustrade system. What you see is not a single fixed piece, but a carefully assembled demonstration of standard components that can be combined in any number to match the exact length required by your project — whether a terrace, a staircase, a balcony, or a garden enclosure.
Every element is crafted from agglomerate cement made with Carrara marble powder and aggregate, white cement RCK 52.5, and hand-finished in Italpark’s workshop in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia. The result is a decorative marble balustrade with the dense, luminous surface that only natural Carrara marble can provide, combined with the structural consistency of white cement — a formula refined through decades of artisan production since 1968.
The composition begins at ground level with the Large Base, which provides a stable, aesthetically coherent footing for each vertical element. Rising from it, the Bourbon Column defines the rhythmic cadence of the balustrade, its turned profile lending the Nerone model its distinctive classical character. The horizontal continuity of the composition is ensured by the Corrimano Grande, which runs along the top of the columns and completes the composable balustrade with a clean, elegant line.
At each end of the run, the Pilastrino Grande acts as a terminal element, framing the composition and providing a visual anchor that reinforces the architectural presence of the installation. Where a vertical accent is needed along the length — for example at a corner or a change of direction — the Small Integrated Plant Box integrates seamlessly into the system without interrupting the flow of the design.
Because the system is fully modular, the number of columns, rails, and terminal elements simply scales with the length of the space to be enclosed. No custom moulds, no special orders: the same Made in Italy standard components are composed differently each time to suit each individual project. This makes the Nerone an ideal solution for architects, landscape designers, and private clients who need a decorative balustrade that is both visually refined and practically adaptable.
