The Venus de Milo is one of the most celebrated masterpieces of ancient Greek sculpture, dating to approximately 100 BCE and attributed to the sculptor Alexandros of Antioch. Discovered in 1820 on the Aegean island of Milos and now housed in the Louvre Museum in Paris, the statue depicts Aphrodite — goddess of love and beauty — in a graceful contrapposto pose that has captivated artists, scholars, and admirers for centuries. Its serene expression and idealized proportions have made it an enduring symbol of classical beauty and feminine grace.
This reproduction by Italpark faithfully captures the elegance of the original in a cementitious composite of Carrara marble aggregate and white cement RCK 52.5, crafted at our workshop in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia. Each piece is individually hand-finished by our artisans, following a tradition of craftsmanship that dates back to 1968. Standing approximately 80 cm tall with a compact base of 17 × 21 cm and a weight of around 35 kg, this sculpture offers a refined presence while remaining manageable for outdoor placement.
