The Columbia vase combines generous proportions with a clean, balanced silhouette that suits both classic and contemporary outdoor settings. With a diameter of 40 cm and a height of 31 cm, its wide, open bowl rests on a sturdy base, creating a solid yet elegant presence on any terrace, garden path, or villa entrance. The broad rim and gently curved body give the Columbia a timeless character — equally striking when displayed empty as a pure decorative element or planted with seasonal flowers and ornamental greenery.
Every Columbia vase is crafted from agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5, the certified material that has defined Italpark’s production since 1968. The natural marble aggregate gives the surface a refined, stone-like texture with subtle tonal variations, while the white cement matrix ensures structural density and long-term resistance to weathering, UV exposure, and temperature changes. Each piece is hand-finished by skilled artisans at the Italpark workshop in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia.
Thanks to its weight of approximately 24 kg, the Columbia vase sits firmly in place even in exposed positions — on a terrace balustrade, flanking a garden entrance, or as a focal point within a landscaped border. Its neutral, natural-stone appearance integrates seamlessly with stone paving, gravel, terracotta, and contemporary architectural finishes alike.
To preserve the vase over time, always keep the drainage hole clear: place a 4–5 cm layer of gravel or pebbles at the bottom of the bowl before adding soil. Raise the vase 3–4 cm off the ground using feet or spacers to prevent the external drainage hole from becoming blocked by the surface beneath. Water stagnation is the primary risk in cold climates — if water accumulates and freezes inside the vase, the resulting expansion can cause cracking. Ensuring free drainage at all times is the most effective way to protect the piece during winter months.
The Columbia vase is produced entirely in Italy by Italpark Srl, a family-run workshop based in Borgo San Giacomo, in the province of Brescia. Since 1968, Italpark has been hand-finishing decorative garden pieces using traditional techniques and certified materials — a heritage of craftsmanship that guarantees both aesthetic quality and lasting durability in every single piece.
Dimensions and weight are indicative. Minor surface variations are a natural characteristic of hand-finished marble granulate products.
