The Gonzaga P. Pillar (ART. 808) is a complete stackable decorative column system, hand-finished in agglomerated cement composed of Carrara marble grit and white cement RCK 52.5. Designed in a smooth style with elegant panel framings, it reaches a total height of 249 cm (98 in) and a total weight of 397 kg (875 lbs), making it an imposing decorative presence for prestigious residential entrances, driveways, and villa gates. The system is assembled by stacking three distinct components, each crafted individually in Italpark’s workshop in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia, as part of a continuous tradition of artisanal production since 1968.
The pillar system comprises three elements: the ART. 811/B Base, measuring 39×39 cm (15.4×15.4 in) at the base with a height of 36 cm (14.2 in) and a weight of 87 kg (192 lbs); the ART. 808/C Gonzaga P. Element, the repeatable shaft unit measuring 25×30.5 cm (9.8×12 in) with a height of 24 cm (9.4 in) and a weight of 35 kg (77 lbs) per piece; and the ART. 816/E Capital, with a height of 21 cm (8.3 in) and a weight of 30 kg (66 lbs), which crowns the composition with a refined decorative finish. All three components feature an internal through-hole of Ø 16 cm (6.3 in). Each element is hand-finished to ensure surface consistency and quality across the assembled column.
The Gonzaga P. system is available in 11 surface finishes, allowing seamless integration with a wide range of architectural styles — from classic Italian villas to contemporary gated residences. Its clean panelled profile suits both symmetrical entrance compositions and standalone decorative installations along garden perimeters or driveways. Being a purely decorative architectural element, it is intended exclusively for ornamental use and must not be employed for any structural or load-bearing purpose.
To preserve the appearance and durability of the material over time, periodic treatment with a transparent water-repellent impregnator is recommended. This protects the surface from moisture absorption, atmospheric agents, and biological growth, maintaining the natural aesthetic of the Carrara marble grit. Regular inspection of the joints between stacked elements is also advised, particularly after winter seasons, to ensure the decorative assembly remains in optimal condition. All components are 100% Made in Italy, produced at Italpark Srl’s facility in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia.
