The York Fountain (ART. 2370) is a monumental garden fountain in Carrara marble grit and white cement, hand-finished in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia. With an external diameter of 360 cm, a border height of 51 cm and a weight of 2,752 kg, it delivers a strong sculptural presence in prestigious villas, historic parks and large representative spaces.
The circular border, 300 cm internal diameter, is designed for permanent installations. A fibreglass basin is available as an optional accessory.
The water system is available with Water Kit type 1 (ART. 2370 Ki1), including pump, complete hydraulics and overflow.
For evening and night installations, Lighting Kit type 1 (ART. 2370 KL1) is available with LED spotlights FL03, transformer and connection box.
Closed circuit, no water connection needed. The automatic refill kit (ART. 2370 KRA) is available. Available in 11 finishes. Made in Italy.
The fountain operates on a closed circuit and requires no water mains connection. Top up the water regularly to keep the pump submerged — the pump must never run dry.
Regularly add an anti-scale and anti-algae product (e.g. art. CH02). Limescale on the pump rotor will void the warranty.
Clean periodically with water and a sponge, no more than once a year. Finishes 7 and 10 (painted) require annual touch-ups with the paint supplied, applied by brush.
Periodically treat surfaces with a transparent water-repellent. Do not use detergents or degreasers on visible surfaces.
When temperatures drop below 3°C, completely drain all parts: crown with nozzles, pipes, border and pump.
Cover with waterproof material to protect it during cold weather.
For harsh winter areas, an additional waterproofing treatment is recommended (art. SI05).
