The Art. 216 Felce Grande is a statement decorative vase that commands attention in any outdoor setting. Its generous, rounded silhouette — approximately 90 cm tall and 90 cm in diameter — draws inspiration from the classical crater form, softened by fluid, organic lines that evoke the natural elegance of unfurling fern fronds. The broad, open mouth and gently swelling body create a sense of abundance and permanence, making this piece equally striking whether displayed as a standalone sculptural element or planted with lush seasonal greenery.
Every Art. 216 is crafted from agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5 — a certified compound that delivers the refined, luminous surface texture characteristic of authentic Italpark pieces. The natural white tone of Carrara marble granulate lends the vase a timeless, sophisticated finish that harmonises effortlessly with both classical garden architecture and contemporary terrace design. Each piece is individually hand-finished by skilled artisans at the Italpark workshop in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia.
With its imposing scale and sculptural presence, the Felce Grande is ideally suited as a focal point on a villa entrance, flanking a grand staircase, anchoring a formal garden axis, or gracing a wide terrace or courtyard. Its substantial weight — approximately 175 kg — ensures natural stability in exposed outdoor positions throughout the year. It is also available in a smaller size (Ø 70 cm × H 70 cm, approx. 96 kg).
To preserve the integrity of this vase when used as a planter, always place 4–5 cm of gravel or pebbles at the base before adding soil, keeping the drainage hole clear at all times. Raise the vase 3–4 cm off the ground using feet or spacers to prevent the external drainage hole from becoming obstructed by the surface beneath. In regions subject to frost, ensure that water does not collect and stagnate inside the vase: ice expansion can cause cracking and irreversible structural damage. Dimensions and weight are indicative.
Italpark has been producing decorative garden vases in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia, since 1968. Every piece is hand-finished in Italy using traditional artisan techniques, ensuring the quality and character that only genuine Made in Italy craftsmanship can deliver.
