The Bordighera Fountain is a monumental handcrafted garden fountain entirely produced in Carrara marble granules and white cement, hand-finished by skilled Italian artisans whose expertise in marble granule craftsmanship dates back to 1968. At the heart of the composition stands a charming putto statue, a classical figurative element that gives the fountain its distinctive character. With an approximate height of 142 cm, a circular border of roughly 234 cm in diameter and a border height of around 38 cm, the Bordighera Fountain commands presence in any garden, courtyard or estate. Indicative weight is approximately 764 kg.
The stacked bowls create the fountain’s signature waterfall effect, with water gently overflowing from one tier to the next.
As part of the range of functioning garden fountains produced since 1995, the Bordighera Fountain is designed to work with dedicated hydraulic kits. The Water Kit Type 1 (ART. 2300 Ki1) provides a complete pump and hydraulic system delivering one water jet from the putto, plus overflow fitting TP02. For a more dynamic water display, the Water Kit Type 2 (ART. 2300 Ki2) adds two additional water jets from the basin via UG03 nozzles, alongside the putto jet and overflow TP02, creating a layered, theatrical effect.
Evening ambiance can be enhanced with two dedicated lighting kits. The Lighting Kit Type 1 (ART. 2300 KL1) includes three FL03 LED spotlights, a transformer and a connection box for clean, warm illumination. Those seeking colour and versatility can opt for the Lighting Kit Type 2 (ART. 2300 KL2), which features three FLM03 multicolour LED spotlights, transformer, connection box and remote control RC02. To keep the water level constant without manual intervention, the Automatic Refill Kit (ART. 2300 KRA) integrates a water level sensor, solenoid valve and complete hydraulic fittings.
A fibreglass basin is available as a separate optional accessory (ART. VV4 or VV10, approximately 30 cm high and 200 cm in diameter, indicative weight 45 kg), designed to contain and recirculate water beneath the fountain structure. The Bordighera Fountain is entirely Made in Italy and represents the full expression of Italpark’s artisanal tradition in decorative garden architecture.
The fountain operates with a closed-circuit pump: no water connection required. Regularly top up the water level and never run the pump dry. Regularly add descaler and anti-algae product (art. CH02) to protect the pump. Limescale on the rotor will void the warranty. Clean with water and a sponge, maximum once a year.
Below 3°C, completely drain all water from the circular border, pipes and pump. Cover the fountain with waterproof material. For areas with particularly harsh winters, apply an additional waterproofing treatment (art. SI05).
