The Art. 131 Vasetto mod. Spiga is a compact decorative vase that brings a refined classical touch to any outdoor setting. Its wide, generous rim tapers gracefully toward a sturdy base, creating balanced proportions that make it equally striking as a standalone ornament or as a planter for seasonal flowers and small shrubs. The Spiga profile — with its subtly sculpted surface detail — adds visual texture and depth, catching natural light throughout the day and enhancing the character of terraces, garden corners, and villa entrances.

Every piece is crafted from agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5, a certified composite material that delivers a naturally luminous, stone-like finish. The warm, pale tone of Carrara marble granulate integrates seamlessly with both lush greenery and architectural surroundings, making this vase a versatile decorative element for any outdoor aesthetic — from traditional Italian gardens to contemporary terraced spaces.

With a diameter of 34 cm and a height of 20 cm (approx. 7.9”), the Vasetto mod. Spiga is compact enough to be arranged in groups or pairs, yet substantial enough — at approximately 14 kg (30.9 lbs) — to remain stable in exposed positions. It is equally suited to decorative display without planting, as a sculptural accent piece that requires no maintenance beyond occasional cleaning.

Maintenance & Care

To ensure long-lasting performance when used as a planter, always keep the drainage hole clear: place a 4–5 cm layer of gravel or pebbles at the bottom of the vase before adding soil. Raise the vase 3–4 cm off the ground using feet or supports to prevent the external drainage hole from becoming obstructed by the surface beneath. In cold climates, take care to avoid water pooling inside the vase: standing water that freezes can cause cracking. During harsh winters, emptying the vase or protecting it from prolonged exposure to freezing temperatures is strongly recommended.

The Vasetto mod. Spiga is hand-finished at the Italpark workshop in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia — a family-run atelier producing decorative garden elements with artisanal care since 1968. Each piece is a testament to Italian craftsmanship: durable, elegant, and made to endure the seasons with timeless grace.
