The Art. 811 Smooth and Hammered Pillar is a complete modular decorative pillar system designed for residential entrances, driveways, gates, and villa access points. Reaching a total height of 252 cm (99.2 in) and a total weight of 488 kg (1,076 lbs), it is composed of stackable elements that combine smooth and hammered surfaces, creating a refined architectural contrast suited to classical and contemporary outdoor settings. Each pillar is hand-finished in Italpark’s workshop in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia, as part of an uninterrupted tradition of artisan production since 1968.

The system is built from five distinct components, each identified by its own article code. The Art. 811/B Base measures h 36 cm × 39×39 cm (14.2 in × 15.4×15.4 in), weighing 87 kg (192 lbs), and forms the structural foundation of the decorative assembly. Above it, the Art. 811/C Hammered Element — h 24 cm × 37×37 cm (9.4 in × 14.6×14.6 in), 50 kg (110 lbs) — and the Art. 811/D Smooth Element — h 18 cm × 31×31 cm (7.1 in × 12.2×12.2 in), 29 kg (64 lbs) — alternate to compose the shaft. The Art. 811/E Capital, h 48 cm, top face 53×53 cm, base 34×34 cm (18.9 in, 20.9×20.9 in, 13.4×13.4 in), weighing 125 kg (276 lbs), crowns the column with a broad decorative profile. The assembly is completed by the Art. 811/F Pinecone, h 28 cm (11 in), 9 kg (20 lbs), a classic ornamental finial. The pillar is pre-arranged for photocell installation and features an internal bore of Ø 18–20 cm (7.1–7.9 in).

All elements are cast in agglomerated cement composed of Carrara marble grit and white cement RCK 52.5, guaranteeing a naturally bright, uniform surface that ages gracefully outdoors. The Art. 811 pillar is fully compatible with Art. 812 and Art. 813 for coordinated entrance compositions. Eleven surface finishes are available, allowing seamless integration with a wide range of architectural styles and garden designs.

To preserve the surface quality over time, periodic treatment with a transparent water-repellent impregnator is recommended, particularly after installation and at the start of each season. This simple maintenance routine protects the material from moisture absorption and atmospheric agents, keeping the decorative finish intact for years.
