Base

The ART. 811/B Pillar Base is the foundation element of the Smooth and Hammered Pillar system (ART. 811), designed to anchor and visually ground the full modular column assembly. This component is not a standalone product: it works in combination with the shaft and cap elements — ART. 811/C, ART. 811/D, ART. 811/E — to complete the pillar. The same base is also compatible with related pillar families: ART. 808 Gonzaga P., ART. 812 Liscio P., ART. 813 Martellinato P., ART. 816 Moro, and ART. 818 Martinengo, making it a versatile element across multiple decorative systems.

Crafted from cementitious agglomerate composed of Carrara marble granules and white cement RCK 52.5, each base is hand-finished by skilled artisans at Italpark’s workshop in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia — a tradition of artisanal production since 1968. The element is available in 11 surface finishes to suit a wide range of architectural and landscape aesthetics. For purely decorative use only.

To preserve the surface over time, periodic treatment with a water-repellent product suitable for cementitious agglomerates is recommended, especially in outdoor environments exposed to frost or moisture. Avoid abrasive cleaners that may alter the hand-finished texture.
