The Art. 177 Tea vase is a compact decorative piece that brings timeless elegance to any outdoor setting. Its balanced, rounded silhouette — with a gently widening body and a refined rim — makes it equally at home on a terrace, villa entrance, or garden pathway. Despite its modest footprint (40 cm height × 40 cm diameter), its solid presence and classical proportions give it a visual weight well beyond its size.
Crafted from agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5, this vase displays the characteristic warm, stone-like finish that only authentic Carrara marble aggregate can provide. The surface is hand-finished by skilled artisans, ensuring that each piece retains the subtle texture and tonal variation typical of traditional Italian craftsmanship. Weighing approximately 35 kg (77.2 lbs), it offers excellent stability in exposed outdoor positions.
The Tea vase works beautifully as a standalone decorative element — placed empty to punctuate a garden composition or frame a doorway — and performs equally well as a planter for seasonal flowers, small shrubs, or trailing plants. Its neutral, stone-toned finish pairs naturally with both contemporary and classical architectural styles.
To ensure long-lasting performance, always keep the drainage hole clear: place a 4–5 cm layer of gravel or pebbles at the bottom of the vase before adding soil. Raise the vase 3–4 cm off the ground using feet or spacers to prevent the external drainage hole from becoming blocked by the surface beneath. This is especially important in winter: if water accumulates and freezes inside the vase, frost damage and cracking may occur. Proper drainage is the single most effective measure to protect your vase year-round.
Art. 177 is part of the Italpark collection, produced in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia, since 1968. Every vase leaves our workshop as a fully Made in Italy piece — hand-finished, weather-resistant, and built to last across seasons and decades.
