The Art. 157 Crisantemo is a decorative garden vase that brings the timeless elegance of classical Italian design to any outdoor setting. With a diameter of Ø 40 cm and a height of 31 cm (approx. 12.2”), its generous, rounded body tapers gracefully toward a defined base, evoking the full, layered silhouette of the chrysanthemum flower. The wide, open rim and balanced proportions make it equally striking as a standalone decorative element or as a refined planter for seasonal blooms and ornamental plants.
Crafted from agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5, this vase combines the natural beauty of Carrara marble aggregate with the structural integrity of high-grade white cement. The result is a surface with a distinctive mineral texture and a warm, natural tone that harmonises effortlessly with stone terraces, formal gardens, and villa courtyards. Weighing approximately 28 kg (61.7 lbs), it offers excellent stability even in exposed outdoor positions.
The Crisantemo vase is an ideal furnishing element for terraces, garden entrances, and villa settings, whether displayed in pairs flanking a doorway, arranged along a garden path, or positioned as a focal point on a paved courtyard. Its classic form suits both traditional and contemporary outdoor environments.
To ensure long-lasting performance, always keep the drainage hole clear: place a 4–5 cm layer of gravel or pebbles at the bottom of the vase before adding soil. Raise the vase 3–4 cm off the ground using feet or spacers to prevent the external drainage hole from becoming obstructed. In regions with cold winters, take care to avoid water pooling inside the vase — if water stagnates and freezes, the resulting ice expansion may cause cracking. Emptying or protecting the vase during prolonged frost periods is strongly recommended.
The Art. 157 Crisantemo is hand-finished by skilled craftsmen at Italpark Srl in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia — a family-run workshop with an uninterrupted tradition of artisanal production since 1968. Every piece is a testament to Italian quality, made entirely in Italy from carefully selected raw materials.
