The Dalia G. is a wide, generously proportioned decorative garden vase that draws inspiration from the classic bowl form, reinterpreted with a refined contemporary sensibility. With a diameter of 57 cm and a height of 39 cm, its broad, open silhouette creates a strong visual presence while maintaining an elegant balance between mass and lightness. The gently flared rim and the solid, stable base give this piece a timeless character that suits both formal garden settings and modern outdoor living spaces.
Crafted from agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5, the Dalia G. offers the natural warmth and texture of authentic Carrara marble aggregate, combined with the structural integrity of high-performance white cement. The surface is hand-finished by skilled artisans, resulting in a tactile, slightly textured finish that ages beautifully outdoors and develops a distinguished patina over time.
Weighing 44 kg (97.0 lbs), this vase is a substantial decorative element designed to anchor a composition and resist wind and accidental displacement. Its generous bowl opening makes it equally suited as a standalone sculptural accent — placed at the entrance of a villa, along a garden path, or at the centre of a terrace — and as a decorative planter for seasonal flowers, ornamental grasses, or Mediterranean shrubs.
To preserve the integrity of the Dalia G. over time, a few simple precautions are recommended. If used as a planter, always keep the drainage hole clear: place a 4–5 cm layer of gravel or coarse stones at the bottom of the vase before adding soil, to prevent the hole from becoming blocked by compacted earth. It is equally important to raise the vase 3–4 cm off the ground — using feet, spacers, or a suitable base — so that the external drainage hole is never obstructed by the surface beneath.
In regions with cold winters, particular attention should be paid to frost risk: if water accumulates inside the vase and freezes, the resulting expansion can cause cracking or structural damage. Ensuring proper drainage at all times is the most effective preventive measure.
The Dalia G. is produced entirely at the Italpark Srl workshop in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia, where artisanal manufacturing of decorative garden elements in marble granulate has been carried out without interruption since 1968. Every piece is 100% Made in Italy, hand-finished with the care and expertise that only decades of dedicated craft tradition can guarantee.
Dimensions and weight are indicative. The natural composition of Carrara marble granulate may produce slight variations in surface tone and texture, making each piece uniquely individual.
