The Art. 259 Cesto Fiorito is a decorative outdoor vase that draws its character from the timeless image of a woven basket overflowing with blooms. Wide and generous in its proportions, it features a broad, open rim and a gently rounded body that tapers toward a sturdy base — creating a balanced silhouette that works equally well as a standalone decorative element or as a planter filled with seasonal flowers and trailing greenery.
With a diameter of 61 cm and a height of 43 cm, the Cesto Fiorito has a commanding presence without overwhelming the space around it. Its low, spreading form makes it particularly suited to terraces, entrance courtyards, and villa gardens, where it can anchor a composition or frame a pathway with understated elegance.
Every piece is cast in agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5 — a certified compound that gives the surface its characteristic warm, stone-like finish and ensures outstanding resistance to weathering, UV exposure, and temperature fluctuations. The result is a vase that ages gracefully outdoors, season after season.

To preserve the vase over time, always keep the drainage hole clear: place a 4–5 cm layer of gravel or pebbles at the bottom of the pot before adding soil. Raise the vase 3–4 cm off the ground using feet or spacers to prevent the external drainage hole from becoming blocked by the surface beneath. In areas subject to frost, take care to avoid water pooling inside the vase — standing water that freezes and expands can cause cracking. Ensuring proper drainage is the single most effective measure against frost damage.
