The Art. 151 Bocciolo is a decorative garden vase whose name — Italian for “bud” — perfectly captures its graceful silhouette. The body swells gently from a compact base, reaching its widest point at mid-height before tapering inward toward a softly closed rim, evoking the rounded fullness of a flower just before it blooms. With a height of 38 cm and a diameter of 40 cm, its balanced, almost spherical proportions make it equally at home as a standalone sculptural accent or as an elegant planter for seasonal flowers and trailing greenery.

Maintenance & Care

To ensure long-lasting performance, always keep the drainage hole clear: place a 4–5 cm layer of gravel or pebbles at the bottom of the vase before adding soil, so water can flow freely. Raise the vase 3–4 cm off the ground using feet or spacers to prevent the external drainage hole from becoming blocked by the surface beneath. This step is especially important in winter: if water collects and freezes inside the vase, the resulting expansion can cause cracking or structural damage. Proper drainage is the single most effective measure against frost-related breakage.
