Every Tiberio amphora is crafted from agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5 — a proprietary blend that gives the surface its characteristic warm, stone-like texture and natural luminosity. This certified material ensures outstanding resistance to weathering, UV exposure, and temperature fluctuations, making the Tiberio a reliable outdoor decorative element throughout all four seasons.
The Tiberio amphora is equally striking as a standalone decorative element — displayed empty to punctuate a garden path, frame an entrance, or anchor a terrace composition — and as a planter for ornamental plants, topiaries, or seasonal flowers. To preserve the integrity of your Tiberio vase when used as a planter, always keep the drainage hole clear: place a 4–5 cm layer of gravel or pebbles at the bottom of the vase before adding soil. This prevents root compaction from blocking water outflow.
Raise the vase 3–4 cm off the ground using feet or spacers to ensure the external drainage hole is never obstructed by the surface beneath. In regions with harsh winters, this precaution is especially important: if water accumulates and freezes inside the vase, the resulting expansion can cause cracking. Ensuring free drainage at all times is the most effective way to protect the vase from frost damage.
