The ART. 971 Small Decorative Sphere is a refined architectural accent crafted in Italpark’s workshops in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia. Produced without interruption since 1968, this element embodies the Italian tradition of decorative stonework, brought to life through artisanal methods passed down across generations.
Each piece is made from cementitious aggregate composed of Carrara marble granulate and white cement RCK 52.5, a material that combines the visual warmth of natural stone with the durability of high-performance cement. The surface is carefully hand-finished to enhance the characteristic texture and luminosity of Carrara marble.
Mounted on a compact base, the sphere reaches a total height of 35 cm (13.8”) with a diameter of Ø 20 cm (7.9”), making it a versatile decorative finial suited to a wide range of architectural contexts. Its contained dimensions and weight of 18 kg (39.7 lbs) make it easy to position as a crowning element on pillars, pilastrini, balusters, boundary walls and gate posts.
The clean, timeless geometry of the sphere integrates naturally with both classical and contemporary garden and façade compositions, adding a finishing touch that elevates the overall aesthetic of the space.
