Pilastro Liscio G.

The Smooth Pillar G. (ART. 814) is the largest and most commanding pillar in the Liscio G. family — a complete modular system composed of stacked elements, each individually crafted from cementitious aggregate of Carrara marble granules and white cement RCK 52.5, hand-finished at Italpark’s workshop in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia. With a total height of 263 cm (103.5 in) without sphere and a total weight of 850 kg (1,874 lbs), this pillar delivers an unmistakable architectural presence at the entrance of villas, private estates, and large residential properties. Its clean smooth surface and monumental proportions make it the defining decorative statement for wide driveways and carriage gates.

The system is built by stacking four distinct components in sequence. The ART. 814/B Base (h 46 cm / 18.1 in, 56×56 cm / 22×22 in, 220 kg / 485 lbs) forms the solid decorative foundation. Above it, multiple ART. 814/C Smooth G. Elements (h 24 cm / 9.4 in each, 45×45 cm / 17.7×17.7 in, 68 kg / 150 lbs each) build the shaft to the desired height. The ART. 814/E Capital (h 36 cm / 14.2 in, 50×50 cm / 19.7×19.7 in, 160 kg / 353 lbs) crowns the shaft with an elegant architectural finish. The system is completed by the optional ART. 814/F Sphere (Ø 20 cm / 7.9 in, 6 kg / 13.2 lbs), which adds a classical decorative accent to the top. The pillar is also pre-arranged for photocell installation, making it fully compatible with automated gate systems. It pairs naturally with ART. 815 for coordinated entrance compositions.

Available in 11 surface finishes, the Smooth Pillar G. adapts to a wide range of architectural styles — from classic Italian villa aesthetics to contemporary residential design. The smooth finish of the Liscio G. family offers a refined, understated elegance that enhances gates, driveways, and garden boundaries with timeless decorative character. All elements are purely decorative and must not be used for structural or load-bearing purposes. The internal through-hole measures Ø 18–20 cm (7.1–7.9 in).

To preserve the natural beauty of the Carrara marble aggregate surface, periodic treatment with a transparent water-repellent impregnator is recommended. This protects the material from weathering, moisture absorption, and surface staining, maintaining the pillar’s appearance over time with minimal effort.
