Michelangelo's David

Michelangelo's David is universally regarded as one of the greatest masterpieces in the history of Western art. Sculpted between 1501 and 1504 from a single block of Carrara marble, the original stands in the Galleria dell'Accademia in Florence, reaching over five metres in height. The figure depicts the biblical hero David in the tense, watchful moment before his confrontation with Goliath — a symbol of civic courage, ideal beauty, and the triumph of intellect over brute force. Its perfect anatomical proportions and psychological intensity have made it an enduring icon of Renaissance humanism.

This monumental garden reproduction is crafted by Italpark's artisans in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia, using an agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5. Every surface detail — from the delicate musculature to the characteristic sling resting over the shoulder — is carefully rifinita a mano, preserving the expressive power of the original in a form designed to endure the outdoor environment. Produced 100% in Italy, this piece reflects over fifty years of artisanal tradition dating back to 1968.

Standing approximately 170 cm tall and resting on a base of roughly 40×47 cm, this classical sculpture makes a commanding focal point for a garden, villa courtyard, or landscaped terrace. It is also available in two smaller sizes: 84 cm (approx. 21 kg) and 120 cm (base approx. 29×29 cm, approx. 80 kg). Its imposing presence and refined finish bring the grandeur of Renaissance art into contemporary outdoor spaces, elevating any setting with timeless elegance.
