Bimbo law
The image of a child absorbed in reading has long been a beloved subject in European decorative sculpture, evoking innocence, curiosity, and the timeless value of knowledge. Figures of young readers appeared frequently in 19th-century academic sculpture and garden ornamentation, becoming enduring symbols of contemplative childhood across Italian and French artistic traditions.
Art. 407 — Bimbo che legge is crafted from a cementitious aggregate composed of Carrara marble granules and white cement RCK 52.5, shaped and hand-finished by Italpark's artisans in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia. Every detail — the gentle curve of the child's posture, the delicate rendering of the open book — is carefully refined by hand, preserving the expressive warmth that has defined Italpark's production since 1968.
With an approximate height of 32 cm (12.6'') and a weight of approximately 24 kg (52.9 lbs), this figure is ideally suited to enrich a garden, terrace, or villa with a touch of classical charm. It pairs beautifully with flower beds, stone benches, or shaded corners where its quiet narrative can be fully appreciated. A refined decorative accent, entirely Made in Italy.
