balustrade Borghese

The Borghese balustrade is a reference composition that showcases the full potential of the Italpark modular balustrade system — a timeless architectural element handcrafted since 1968 in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia, using white cement RCK 52.5 and Carrara marble aggregate. This display assembly is not a fixed, single piece: it is a composable balustrade that can be extended or reduced simply by adding or removing standard units, allowing you to achieve the exact length required by your project — whether a terrace, a garden staircase, a balcony, or a villa perimeter fence.

The composition is built from the ground up starting with the Colonnetta Sirmione II, the central vertical element that gives the balustrade its characteristic rhythm and decorative presence. Each column rests on a Large Base, a sturdy footing that ensures a clean, level installation on any surface. Running along the top, the Corrimano Grande ties the entire composition together, providing a refined finishing line that is both aesthetically elegant and practical to the touch. The sequence is anchored at each end by a Pilastrino Grande, the terminal pillar that frames the balustrade with a sense of architectural solidity. Where a post with an integrated decorative element is preferred, the Small Integrated Plant Box offers a seamless alternative that enhances the overall visual balance of the composition.

Every component is hand-finished by skilled craftsmen, preserving the artisanal quality that has distinguished Italpark production for over fifty years. The natural texture of Carrara marble granules gives each piece a luminous, slightly textured surface that ages gracefully outdoors, developing the subtle patina typical of authentic stone materials.

This Made in Italy decorative balustrade is designed exclusively for ornamental applications — ideal for gardens, terraces, balconies, and historic-style architectural settings. The modular nature of the system means that the same standard elements photographed here can be combined in any quantity to suit your specific project dimensions, with no need for custom molds or bespoke manufacturing.
