Bas Welcome

The Welcome Bas-Relief (Art. 776) is a decorative panel crafted from agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5, measuring approximately 36×31 cm (W×H) and weighing around 10 kg. Designed exclusively for decorative purposes, it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations, bringing a refined sculptural accent to any architectural or garden setting.

The subject of this bas-relief — a classic welcome motif — draws on a long tradition of threshold and entrance decoration rooted in European domestic architecture. Welcoming inscriptions and symbolic imagery have adorned doorways, gates, and garden walls for centuries, serving as a gracious gesture of hospitality and a mark of the homeowner's taste. This piece captures that timeless spirit in a compact, elegantly composed relief format, hand-finished to highlight every detail of the design.

Thanks to its versatile proportions, the Welcome Bas-Relief integrates naturally into a wide range of decorative contexts: exterior façades and entrance portals, garden boundary walls, pergola pillars, courtyard niches, and interior feature walls. It is equally at home in a rustic country garden and a contemporary urban setting, adapting effortlessly to different architectural languages through the choice of finish.

The piece is available in 11 distinct surface finishes, including bianco naturale, bianco antico, tufo, terracotta, Black 2.0, Old London, bronzo, and Antiquariato Design 2.0, among others. Each finish is hand-applied by skilled craftsmen, allowing customers to match the relief to the specific palette and character of their space — from sun-bleached Mediterranean walls to dark, contemporary stone cladding.

Produced in Italy since 1968, Italpark bas-reliefs represent over five decades of uninterrupted artisanal tradition. Every piece is individually hand-finished using time-honoured techniques, ensuring consistent quality and long-lasting resistance to weathering. The combination of Carrara marble granules and high-strength white cement RCK 52,5 guarantees both aesthetic refinement and structural durability, making this bas-relief a lasting decorative investment for any home, garden, or architectural project.
