Children on the bench

The image of children at rest has been a beloved subject in European decorative sculpture since the Neoclassical era, evoking innocence, tenderness, and the quiet poetry of everyday life. Figures of putti and young children adorned the gardens of aristocratic villas and public parks throughout the 18th and 19th centuries, becoming enduring symbols of joy and domestic harmony in outdoor decorative art.

This charming piece from Italpark's classical collection depicts two children seated side by side on a bench, captured in a moment of serene companionship. It is crafted from an agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5, a material that lends the sculpture its characteristic warm, stone-like finish and remarkable durability in outdoor conditions. Each piece is carefully rifinita a mano in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia, preserving the artisanal quality that has defined Italpark's production since 1968.

With an approximate height of 38 cm and a compact base of 20 × 20 cm, this sculpture is ideally suited for garden terraces, villa courtyards, and ornamental flower beds. Its modest footprint makes it equally at home on a stone ledge, beside a garden path, or as a focal accent within a landscaped setting. A refined decorative touch, entirely Made in Italy, that brings warmth and classical character to any outdoor space.
