Description

The Dorothea P. Fountain (ART. 2361) is a monumental garden fountain in Carrara marble grit and white cement, hand-finished at the Borgo San Giacomo workshop in Brescia, Italy. With an external diameter of 350 cm, a height of 200 cm and a weight of 2,200 kg, it is one of the most beloved fountains in the Italpark range for its classic elegance and sculptural presence.

The circular border, with an internal diameter of 250 cm and a height of 54 cm, frames the central sculptural subject. For those unable to build an underground base, a fibreglass basin is available as an optional accessory.

The water system is available with Water Kit type 1 (ART. 2361 Ki1), including pump, complete hydraulics and overflow.

Two lighting kits are available. Lighting Kit type 1 (ART. 2361 KL1) includes LED spotlights FL03. Lighting Kit type 2 (ART. 2361 KL2) features multicolor FLM03 with RC02 remote control.

Closed circuit, no water connection needed. The automatic refill kit (ART. 2361 KRA) is available. Available in 11 finishes. Made in Italy.

Fountain maintenance

The fountain operates with a closed-circuit pump: no water connection required. Regularly top up the water level and never run the pump dry. Regularly add descaler and anti-algae product (art. CH02) to protect the pump. Limescale on the rotor will void the warranty. Clean with water and a sponge, maximum once a year.

Winter maintenance

Below 3°C, completely drain all water from the circular border, pipes and pump. Cover the fountain with waterproof material. For areas with particularly harsh winters, apply an additional waterproofing treatment (art. SI05).
