Coppia di Grifoni

Art. 1551 – Pair of Griffins | Millennium Line

The griffin is one of the most enduring symbols in Western decorative tradition — a mythological creature combining the body of a lion with the wings and head of an eagle, embodying both earthly power and celestial authority. Present in ancient Greek, Roman, and medieval heraldic art, the griffin has long been used as a guardian figure at the entrances of palaces, noble estates, and formal gardens, representing strength, vigilance, and prestige.

This pair of griffins belongs to the Millennium Line by Italpark, crafted in Borgo San Giacomo (Brescia) using an agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5. Each piece is individually cast and rifinita a mano by skilled artisans, ensuring a consistent yet subtly unique character across the pair. The clean, contemporary interpretation of this classic subject makes these sculptures equally at home in modern and traditional outdoor settings.

Standing approximately 58 cm tall on a compact 19 × 19 cm base, these griffins are designed to be placed symmetrically — flanking a garden entrance, a flight of steps, a terrace, or a driveway gate. Their substantial weight of around 49 kg per piece ensures excellent stability on outdoor surfaces. A refined decorative statement for villas, private gardens, and contemporary outdoor spaces, proudly Made in Italy since 1968.
