Maid '900

The Damigella '900 — literally "Young Lady of the 1900s" — draws its graceful inspiration from the figurative sculpture tradition that flourished across Europe at the turn of the twentieth century. This era celebrated the female form with refined elegance, soft drapery, and composed postures that conveyed both dignity and gentle beauty. Decorative figures of this style adorned the gardens and terraces of grand villas throughout Italy and the rest of the continent, becoming enduring symbols of early modern aesthetic sensibility.

Crafted in Italpark's workshop in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia, this sculpture is cast in an agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5, a material that combines the luminous warmth of genuine Carrara marble aggregate with the structural integrity of high-grade white cement. Every detail — from the delicate folds of the figure's garment to the subtle expression of her pose — is rifinita a mano by skilled artisans, following a tradition of craftsmanship that Italpark has maintained since 1968. The result is a sculpture of considerable presence, standing approximately 140 cm (55.1'') tall and weighing around 182 kg (401.3 lbs), with a base of approximately 54 × 40 cm.

The Damigella '900 is designed exclusively as a decorative element for outdoor and indoor settings. She brings an atmosphere of timeless elegance to formal gardens, terraced courtyards, historic villa grounds, and private estates. Whether positioned as a focal point along a garden path, framed by hedgerows, or placed on a stone terrace, this classical garden statue lends an unmistakable sense of refinement to any space. A proudly Made in Italy piece, she represents the finest tradition of Italian decorative sculpture — enduring, expressive, and crafted to be admired for generations.
