Heron

Heron Garden Statue — Art. 619

The heron has long been one of the most evocative presences in European garden art and ornamental tradition. With its slender silhouette, poised stance, and natural elegance, this wading bird has inspired sculptors and landscape designers for centuries, becoming a timeless symbol of grace, patience, and harmony with nature. Its statuesque posture makes it a naturally sculptural subject, perfectly suited to adorn ponds, flowerbeds, and refined outdoor spaces.

This decorative heron sculpture is crafted by Italpark Srl in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia, using an agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5. Each piece is individually finished by hand by our skilled artisans, ensuring a refined surface texture and faithful attention to anatomical detail — from the elongated neck to the delicate feather rendering. Produced entirely in Italy since 1968, it embodies decades of artigianal expertise in decorative garden sculpture.

With an approximate height of 100 cm (39.4'') and a base of approximately 48 × 30 cm, this medium-sized heron makes a striking focal point in any outdoor setting. Its substantial weight of approximately 90 kg (198.5 lbs) ensures excellent stability on terraces, garden paths, villa grounds, or beside water features. It is also available in a smaller 70 cm size (base approx. 26×26 cm, approx. 45 kg). The natural tones of Carrara marble grit blend beautifully with lush greenery, stone paving, and classic or contemporary garden designs alike.
