Eros

Eros — Sacred Garden Statue in Carrara Marble Aggregate

In classical antiquity, Eros embodied the primordial force of love and spiritual union, venerated across Greek and Roman traditions as a divine messenger between the human and the sacred. Over the centuries, his image was reinterpreted through Christian iconography, where the winged figure evolved into a symbol of celestial innocence and divine grace — a presence that bridges the earthly and the transcendent. This dual heritage makes Eros one of the most enduring and evocative subjects in sacred decorative art.

Art. 587 is crafted by Italpark Srl in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia, using an agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5. Each piece is individually cast and rifinita a mano by skilled artisans, following a tradition of craftsmanship that dates back to 1968. The result is a surface with the warm, luminous tone characteristic of natural Carrara marble, with subtle texture variations that give every statue a unique character.

With a height of approximately 92 cm (36.2'') and a compact 26 × 26 cm base, this sacred figure is ideally suited for garden niches, terraced areas, villa entrances, and outdoor devotional corners. Its substantial weight of approximately 68 kg (149.9 lbs) ensures excellent stability in open-air settings. A refined decorative accent for those who wish to bring a timeless sacred presence into their outdoor living space.
