Cupido

Art. 581 – Cupid Garden Statue

Cupid — known in Greek mythology as Eros, son of Aphrodite — is one of the most enduring figures in Western art and decorative tradition. Depicted across centuries as a winged youth embodying love, desire, and divine playfulness, his image has graced the gardens of European villas, royal courts, and classical parks since the Renaissance. From Baroque fountains to Neoclassical sculpture gardens, the figure of Cupid has long been considered an essential element of refined outdoor decoration.

This decorative sculpture is crafted by Italpark Srl in Borgo San Giacomo, Brescia, using an agglomerato cementizio composto da graniglia di marmo di Carrara e cemento bianco RCK 52,5. Each piece is individually rifinita a mano by our artisans, following a production tradition established in 1968. Standing approximately 103 cm tall and weighing around 63 kg, this figure presents the characteristic warm, stone-like finish that distinguishes genuine Italian craftsmanship from mass-produced alternatives.

Ideal for enhancing a garden, terrace, or villa entrance, this Cupid statue brings a timeless classical atmosphere to any outdoor setting. Its generous proportions make it a natural focal point among flowerbeds, along garden pathways, or as a standalone decorative accent on a paved terrace. A 100% Made in Italy piece, designed to complement both formal and informal outdoor spaces with elegance and character.
